Prosecutor Welch Highlights How Citizens Can Help Fight Child Abuse
In recognition of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, Muskingum County Prosecuting Attorney Ron Welch spoke with a local news reporter about the office’s fight against child abuse in the county, and how everyday people can help protect the vulnerable in our community from abuse and exploitation.
Prosecutor Welch was interviewed by WHIZ-TV reporter Mary Behanna for a news segment airing on April 15. Behanna and Welch discussed the issue of child abuse in Muskingum County, what the Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office is doing to serve justice for our county’s children, and how everyday people can help by reporting what they see to law enforcement authorities.
