Bethany L. Hayes

Bethany Hayes is a dedicated law enforcement professional with over 25 years of experience in public service. A graduate of Shenandoah High School, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Muskingum University and went on to complete the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy at Muskingum Area Technical College.
Bethany currently serves as the Felony Investigator for the Muskingum County Prosecutor's Office and as a Deputy with the Muskingum County Sheriff's Office. Her commitment to justice and community safety has earned her notable recognition, including the Medal of Valor in 2008 and the prestigious Brian T. Wagner Community Leadership Award in 2015.
Beyond her work in law enforcement, Bethany is a passionate entrepreneur and community leader. She co-owns Reinvent Fitness and RF Athletics and brings her leadership and mentorship to the court as a coach for the girls’ basketball team at John Glenn High School.
Bethany is a proud wife and mother of two, and has been married to her husband, Trevor, for 17 years.
