Jahan Karamali

Jahan S. Karamali is an experienced prosecutor currently serving as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney with the Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office, where she handles felony prosecutions and appellate matters on behalf of the State of Ohio.
Prior to joining the office, Karamali served as an Assistant United States Attorney with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Ohio, prosecuting federal narcotics, firearms, child exploitation, and fraud cases. She also previously served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney with the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office and the Delaware County Prosecutor’s Office, as well as an Associate Assistant Attorney General with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office representing state agencies in complex civil and administrative matters.
A Toledo native, Karamali earned her Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law and her Bachelor of Arts in English from Boston College.
In her free time, she enjoys doing hot yoga and listening to live country music.
