How Is a Criminal Case Bond Determined?
The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office is continuing its community education initiative with a new informational resource explaining how bonds are determined in criminal cases. The educational piece provides a general overview of the factors courts may consider when setting bond conditions and amounts throughout the criminal justice process.
Community members can also explore additional educational topics and resources available on the office website, including how criminal cases move through the court system, the role of the grand jury, plea agreements, diversion programs, victim services, and other public safety initiatives.
