Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office Participates in Project Ready Family Fun Day to Support Local Re-Entry Services
As a proud sponsor of the event, the Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office participated in Project Ready’s Family Fun Day. The event brought together families, community organizations, and local partners to promote education, services, and resources for individuals striving to re-enter society as productive, law-abiding citizens.
In addition to representatives from the Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office, staff from local organizations such as the Muskingum County Health Department, the Muskingum County Sherriff’s Department, Ohio State Highway Patrol, and numerous treatment providers were onsite. Each agency was engaged in sharing resources, engaging with families, and supporting Project Ready’s mission to “build a stronger, safer, and more productive community and reduce recidivism by improving the quality of life of our returning citizens through a collaborative effort of case management, services, and resources”, a goal we proudly support through events like Family Fun Day.

"My office’s participation is made possible using funds seized as part of illegal drug activities and comes at no cost to taxpayers. Our office hopes that people re-entering society from incarceration have learned that committing crimes will lead to prison if they do not change their ways. Joining with groups like Project Ready in providing community-level resources to help former inmates change and successfully reintegrate into society plays a vital role in making Muskingum County a safer place to live.”
