Prosecutor’s Office Reviewing Investigation into the Death of Police K9 Cooper
ZANESVILLE, OH – The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office has received the investigative packet from law enforcement regarding the death of Police K9 Cooper.
Muskingum County Prosecutor Ron Welch stated, “The death of K9 Cooper is tragic to members of our community and to law enforcement. I will be conducting a thorough review of all reports, witness statements, and evidence collected by investigators before making any decision regarding this case. This process ensures that any decisions are based solely on facts and the rule of law. Regardless of who is involved, my office always strives to hold everyone accountable under the law”
