Lucas Howard

Born and raised in Muskingum County, Lucas graduated from Zanesville High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, specializing in Economics, from The Ohio State University in 2016, followed by his Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law in 2020.
After successfully passing the Bar Exam, Lucas returned to Muskingum County and began his career as a general practitioner at Micheli, Baldwin, Mortimer, McLendon & Whitacre LLP, focusing on Criminal Law, Juvenile Law, and Family Law.
In 2024, after three years of practice, Lucas accepted a position as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney at the Muskingum County Prosecutor's Office where he handles all misdemeanor cases for the County.
Lucas is also an active member of both the Muskingum County Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association.
Outside of work, Lucas enjoys spending time with his wife, Claire, and their dog, Rocky. He also loves playing golf and cheering on his favorite teams, particularly the Ohio State Buckeyes.
